Mango Calcite Freeform from South Africa

Mangano calcite is a beautiful soft pink color, often with white banding. It is very strongly UV reactive, glowing a bright orange-pink color under UV light. The pink color comes from Manganese, and although often found in larger chunks, it can also grow in unique poker chip formations, with multiple crystals stacked on top of each other. The best banded specimens are often found in Peru.
